About Me

About me

I am Chiara (she/her), a UKCP accredited psychotherapist offering therapy online and in person.

I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, low mood and depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity questions, emotional overwhelm, and the experience of living between cultures.

I also work with people across different neurotypes and aim to offer a therapeutic space that is thoughtful, collaborative and responsive to individual ways of experiencing, processing and relating to the world.

Alongside my clinical work, I have a particular interest in the emotional impact of living between cultures, migration, belonging, intersectionality, and the complexity of building a sense of self across different environments.

I have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and recognise the importance of understanding emotional wellbeing within the wider social and cultural contexts people navigate.

I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming and respectful of diverse experiences of gender, sexuality and relationships.

I offer a confidential space to slow down, understand yourself more deeply, and feel more connected to your life again.

I conduct therapy sessions in English and Italian.

My approach

I specialise in Relational Transactional Analysis, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches to adapt therapy to each person’s individual needs and experiences.

My training integrates relational, psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) perspectives, allowing us to explore both present difficulties and the deeper emotional patterns that may sit underneath them.

Therapy can help bring greater awareness to unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and relating, while creating space for meaningful change.

My approach is warm, reflective and collaborative. I believe therapy is not only about reducing symptoms, but about creating a space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood and emotionally safe.

I am also currently completing a Clinical Supervision course with an intersectional lens, which further supports my reflective and relational approach to clinical work.

Reaching out can feel difficult

Many people worry about what to say in a first message, whether their difficulties are “serious enough”, or whether therapy is the right step.

You are welcome to contact me even if you feel unsure.

I offer a free 20-minute initial phone call where we can explore what is bringing you to therapy, discuss any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels right for you.

There is no pressure or expectation to commit immediately.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step.

Many people reach out after spending months — sometimes years — trying to manage everything alone.

You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting me.

Therapy can offer a space where you no longer have to hold everything internally, perform being “fine”, or navigate difficult emotions on your own.

Together, we can begin to make sense of what feels overwhelming, stuck, painful or emotionally distant.
